Our area here in Henry and Patrick Counties in Virginia has been hit with huge job loss and yes even Krogers is closing it store on 220 south in Martinsville, Va. with that comes more job losses and everyone knows when jobs leave then there is food problems. I have letters from area Chamber of commerce and from local food banks stating that the hunger problem is growing beyond what they can do. our area food banks and churches are doing all they can but there is still a lot of families trying just to make it from month to month. Social Services at various time has helped all they could. But the problem is still growing, and with Our grocery store closing it will put a harder burden on families far as gas to get to the other krogers for some dont like food lion in our area. But I could go on a length on this but i will get to the point. We need about 15 acres to build a farmers for the hunger market on it, greenhouses and shelter for a lot of the homeless and we could offer them shelter and food in return for just a few hours of work on the farm till they get back on there feet again. Guess what? It didn't.I too am behind in rent and utilities. i got to food banks/pantries, but my son who is 15 requires more than what we get. His father is absent, behind in child support, and my son needs medical attention for a chest deformity. I don't like asking for handouts, but I too need help...any financial help is appreciated.

My sons biological father has not been part of his life for 4yrs. He has denied him, missing child support payments and not caring for his child's safety or health. He abuses drugs and alcohol. hello every one i have a really big problem and i dont know how to make it any better or get the help i really need i have looked in to everything i can think of and got nothing im a 23 year old living on his own out of my car now i had lost my job due to to many people working at the place i was at my girl friend has tried everything she can think of cause to help us ge a place but with her being the only one of us with a job right now its kinda hard i was staying with my girl friend because i had been kicked out of the place i was staying at due to the people i was living with because they wanted my whole pay check every two weeks for things that were not needed to have a place so one day i came home from work to find all my belongings out on the street in the snow so my girl friend let me stay with her and her room mates but . her room mates had kicked me out also because they have another girl moving in on the tenth of this month so i had to leave on the first i have been living out of my car in the dead of winter and my girl friend and i have tried everything to get us a place she works full time and i have been calling and filling out job apps like a mad man just to get another job to help out and she dont want me to live in my car you wouldnt let you're partner live in theres would you ? so is there any place or people out there that care enought to help some one in my need out ? i havent found any one my family wont her's wont we are stuck in a rock and a hard place can any one give me any info or anything

When you say bogging do you mean under acceleration , at a stop? does the engine rev but the car doesnt respond? describe it as fully as possible. also which motor is in it and when was your last use up?(sparkplugs, fuel filter air filter, etc.

I am trying to piece it back to working order piece by piece. People have told me they are not a welcoming job, so I have learned by online to fix things myself, which i have no problem with its is kind of a good feeling to get it done yourself. I am so frustrated. I have given help to salvation army and food drive and clothing drives even toy drives. I am not a wealthy person obviously. I am at my wits end. I have been scammed and lied to and even belittled. I have two jobs and now this time I am in desperate need of some assistance. I am having car troubles and the more I fix the more than breaks I am going to lose my mind. I work as a personal assistant to the disabled and elderly and my car is their way of life and mine. Since they dont go through a bog organization they depend on me and I depend on my job to support my three kids. I was doing real well until, well the car is mechanically not cooperating. I was wondering also when you call the car donation companies they have none available or none in your area, worst is I got to there was none available in my area but if I would like to donate my car they could repair it for a needy family. I was shocked, they would repair if donated nut not help me repair it when I am in need too. I need some help for repairs or some money for down payment for another used car that can get me through the winter. Please any advice I would appreciate. I never thought by giving all these years would hurt so much when you get turned down yourself when you need it......

The person that wrote about getting out of debt is correct, but maybe there are other alternatives, like bankruptcy, debt consolidation, or negotiating with your creditors.

I’m a struggling single mom sometimes feeling all alone in this world. I really hope there’s someone out there to help me. I feel I’m at the end of my rope…but I have to be strong for my child….I am ALL he has. I pray that someone can reach out to me and let me know that there are people in this world that really does care and truly want to assist me. I’m about to lose my home (3 months behind on rent - $2700…..not including November) which scares me because my child and I have nowhere else to go. I’m behind on my car payments – so I have that to worry about as well. My job is in another city (gas expenses are outrageous - $60 a week). About four months ago, my employer cut my pay by over ½ in order to prevent laying off employees. I barely make much money and now it’s not even worth the commute in that I spend much of it in gas. I had purchased a new 2010 car the first of this year and ended up “returning” the car this summer because I could no longer afford it. I loved that car and hate returning it, but I had no choice. Sometimes we (people) have to take a few steps back to make ends meet, but my ends are still not meeting. Even with getting a cheaper car (going from a 2010 to a 1999 car), I’m still behind on car payments. I have tried public assistance, but now-a-days it seems you have to be making $5,000 (annually) before they will give you any assistance. I was able to get food stamps though….it wasn’t much, but every little bit helps. Some people out there abuse the system….and it makes it harder for the ones (like me) who really NEED it to get any kind of assistance.
I’m currently trying to find another job, but haven’t had any luck yet. No one’s calling! It’s not benefiting me at all where I’m working at right now - because I’m not making nothing!!! To make matters worse, there’s a court order for child support but it’s not being enforced the way that it should. I’ve tried to locate the father for assistance, he’s nowhere to be located and I don’t even think he’s working right now. Furthermore, he has not even seen his child at all! It’s sad because I grew up without my father and it looks like my child will grow up without one. He completely turned his back on me once he found out I was pregnant!
My mother died when I was a young child and my father was in and out of my life. I was almost an orphaned. The family members I have are not in any shape to help me and living with them are not an option….they have “no room”…they say. So now you see why I feel so alone? I don’t have anybody in my life right now. Not in a relationship…..don’t care for that right now…..I’m trying to save my home. I’m so very stressed, not sleeping and constantly worrying how am I going to get caught up with the rent, how am I going to catch up on car payments, how am I going to pay utility bills etc. etc etc. I pay a little to my debtors with the small amount of money I do make. It’s hard trying to figure out who to pay…..so I focus on what will be “turned off” soon. I know I’m not the only one in this boat…there are so many single moms out here going through the same thing….I guess everybody has a story to tell.
I’m just so afraid….I try not to show it around my son how scared I am….but I’m so afraid we’re going to come home and find a pad-lock on the door or wake up and find my car repossessed. My landlord has been so patient with me….but this is putting him in a financial bind as well. He’s aware that we have no other place to go – but I’m too far behind and need to come up with 2 or 3 rent payments to avoid being evicted.
On top of all I just revealed….my son needs braces right away to prevent “jaw surgery”….stress on top of stress!!!!!
Please – if you can do anything to help me out, I would greatly appreciate it so much.
I pray that GOD sends an angel to this website to help me out. If it was the other way around and I have funds to help someone out….I wouldn’t give it a 2nd thought…I would definitely help them out…..stranger or not. I would definitely feel good about it!!!!

If one say's in their heart they don't need God. For instance numerous scripture speaks about how loving, and providing God is to those who seek him. How? With their heart. God also says how he owns everything for him, and by him for his divine purpose.
Why friend would you leave out the God. When HE would be the owner of the sourced donation.

I know this is crazy, and I'm sure you've read every sad story possible, I can't believe I'm even doing this, I am 53 years old, I have always worked and paid my way, raised my son who is now serving our country in the armed forces, I'm ashamed for him to know how bad things have gotten for me, I've sold most all possessions I have, material things mean nothing and can be replaced, yet when one things starts going the right way, well you know the story, I'm not asking for a large sum, all I need is $200.00, thats it. two hundred dollars, Ive tried payday loans only to be ripped off, I w3ould gladly repay or set up a way to repay the money in 2 pmts if possible. I am a single mom of 2 girls, 3 years ago their dad left us and moved to Mexico. Maria was 2 and Araceli 6 months at the time. Since then i was working as a security officer and renting rooms... i would rent a room in peoples house with my girls, in the begining we would get kicked out because my babies were just too much for strangers to deal with. we had moved 7 times in less then 3 years room to room and at one point in motels. in 2009 i returned back to school. i lasted one year and a half, i lost my job and was finding it hard to pay the Room rent, so i decided to move to Alabama where it was cheaper to live and my brother would be nearby so i could have baby sitter help, well i finally got a trailor i could afford and living alone with my girls. and i am not able to drive now because my car has a salvaged title out of california and Alabama wont allow me to register it. i have gotten 3 tickets driving it to and from work (the nearest big city where i worked is 50 minutes away), and its soo far away that i cant get any help.... i had to stop driving it. its sitting in the driveway with expired california tags. i am suppose to strat school again in the spring but i may not because of the lack of transportation. i am on the verge of welfare, i dont have a washer and dryer so its hard to go to a laundry mat. i have missed appointments due to the lack of transportation.... i also could use help with winter clothes lil girls size 6... and help with gettting heat for the winter, it opperates on gas and there is a big tank which i am suppose to fill myself or get a gas company to bring and fill one.... i need help!! i am begining to feel like a failure, thanks for reading, God bless

I'm not sure if anyone will even read this. I'm hoping you will. This seems to be my last hope at this point. I have tried everything legal that I can do for my situation. I need help with a bench warrant from NJ. I am now living in FL and trying to keep my life in order and take care of my mother. I owe NJ $7500 for a charge of theft by deception from June 08. I was the victim of a check fraud scam. The one where you are hired to be a mystery shopper. The check I received that was to be used for that was fake and bounced. The bank charged me with theft. My lawyer told me to take the plea of probation or face 10 years in jail. I was terrified, so I agreed. I am not a criminal; I have no idea how that worked. I was given probation and tried paying the money back as soon as I went. The officer refused to accept payment since he didn't have any paperwork on me. I moved to a different county probation in Sept 08. I tried the same with them and got the same response. Still no paperwork that I was even in probation. I moved to FL that December, with permission of the probation dept. I did all that was requested of me. Since I couldn't find a job, I was in violation of my probation and was required to report back to NJ, in 3 days time. I did not have the means to get back up there. Hence the bench warrant that is now active. I have been trying since I was convicted to pay this back. Since the bench warrant was issued, I have been getting told by my officer that she wants me in jail. I am currently in college for the nursing program. I am taking care of my mother. I got fired from my last 3 jobs due to her CHF and having to take her into the hospital. I have been an EMT since 1999. I was at 9-11 helping in NJ. I have 2 brothers in the army, one on his 3rd deployment right now. I help anyone that needs help, sometimes at the expense of myself. I am in no way shape or form a criminal. I have tried so many different things from asking churches for help, asking my family, friends, trying for a loan-which you can't get without a job, I have looked for a job, I have even gone to the senator of NJ. I have tried selling my stuff. I'm at my limit. I need help. All I ask for is a loan to pay this back. I will make the payments needed to pay this off. I know I am responsible for the original $4100 of this. The extra is the amount of the warrant. Please let me know if there is anything anyone can do to help me. Thank you for reading this.
